The argument that Rob Ford and his supporters are in any way morally comparable, or even comparable at basic levels of intelligence and worldliness, to the legitimately constituted gay and lesbian community is something I guess I’ll just have to add onto the endless pile of insults against that community. There is no moral equivalency whatsoever between Rob Ford and us.

I suppose an article about a transgendered queue-jumper has to be published somewhere, but why in a gay or lesbian publication? This male-bodied person has a girlfriend and is not gay or lesbian. Nor is an MTF transgendered person female or a woman.
The relevance, then, is what?
